When does my player practice?

Practices run Monday through Thursday. Both divisions are coed, and each division has its own practice time.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

3rd to 5th grade4:30 to 5:20 PM

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

Pick your day

Your practice day
is your team.

  1. Pick your division. 1st to 2nd grade or 3rd to 5th grade.
  2. Pick your practice day. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Players from any school or location can choose any open day.
  3. Play with that day's team all season. Your teammates are the players who chose the same day and division.

Is your day full?

Each day's team closes once its spots fill. If the day you want is full, choose a different day of the week.

Game days

Two tournaments.
One season champion.

The season has two tournaments, and every team plays two games at each tournament, for four games in all.

Who will we play?

Organizers vary the matchups from tournament to tournament. Because teams play two games at each tournament, a team may see the same opponent twice.

How are champions decided?

At the end of the season, win-loss record and goal differential across both tournaments determine the season champions.

Futsal 101

What is futsal?

Futsal is soccer made for a hard court. It is fast, small-sided and full of touches on the ball.

Small-sided soccer
Fewer players on a smaller playing area means every player is part of the action.
A hard court and a low-bounce ball
The ball stays on the floor, which rewards close control and clean passing.
Lots of touches
Players are on the ball again and again, so they pass quickly and make fast decisions.
Skills that carry over
Quick feet, first touch and fast thinking help players when they return to outdoor soccer.

Common questions

Good to know.

Does my child need to attend a certain school?

No. The league is open to the public, and players from any school or location can choose any open practice day.

Are teams set up by school?

No. Teams are set up by practice day and division. Your player's teammates are the players who chose the same day.

What if my player is in a different grade than their friend?

1st to 2nd graders and 3rd to 5th graders play in separate divisions with separate practice times, so friends in different divisions will be on different teams.

How many games will my player play?

Four games: two at each of the two tournaments.

Is the league coed?

Yes. Both divisions are coed.

Is futsal only for experienced players?

No. Futsal's small teams and constant touches make it a great way for any player to build confidence with the ball.
