About the role

Mile High Kids Collective runs Super Soccer Stars programs for kids across the South Denver metro. We’re hiring reliable, energetic part-time coaches to join our staff and make every class a positive experience for children and families.

You don’t need a soccer background or professional coaching experience. You do need to enjoy working with young children, feel comfortable leading a group, and bring a warm, encouraging attitude. We provide paid training, session plans, and equipment so you can focus on helping kids have fun, learn basic skills, and build confidence.

Choose the shifts that fit your availability. Our schedule includes weekday mornings, weekday afternoons, and weekend mornings. Tell us which days and time blocks you can consistently work. You do not need to be available for every shift type; we’ll discuss class assignments that fit your availability and our program needs.

This is an ongoing part-time role on our coaching staff. Once you accept a class assignment, we count on you to attend consistently and communicate clearly with our team.

What a coaching shift looks like: Drive to your assigned location, set up the class space, lead games and skill-building activities, communicate with families and site staff, then pack up your equipment. Groups are often around 5–10 children, and you should be comfortable leading 10 or more when needed. Keep the atmosphere fun and welcoming while helping children stay safe, engaged, and moving.

Be clear on the hours and travel. Classes take place at different locations, and weekly hours vary with your assignments. Many coaches work a small number of hours each week. Coaches available for mornings and afternoons most weekdays may work around 10–15 hours per week, depending on class assignments. You’ll need a reliable car and a dependable commute to South Denver metro locations.

Pay and training: Starting pay is $22 per hour for inexperienced coaches and $25 or more per hour for experienced or licensed coaches or candidates with a strong youth-sports background. Required paid training takes place before your first live class.

This role can fit college students, teachers, paraprofessionals, camp counselors, former athletes, parents with daytime availability, and anyone who enjoys helping children learn through play. We value reliability, patience, and the ability to bring positive energy—even when a group is silly, distracted, or having a tough day.
