An enrichment program has to fit a school’s day as well as its students. A short shared brief can help the school and program team agree on the details before families begin registering.
Start with the students and the space
List the age or grade group, the interests you want to support, and the space available. Soccer Stars, Little Medical School, and Karate Zoo offer different ways to participate. The local team can talk through the format and space requirements for the program you are considering.
Make the handoffs explicit
- Who is the school’s main contact, and who makes scheduling decisions?
- Which days, time windows, and school-calendar exceptions should the program account for?
- How will students reach the activity and return to the school’s usual pickup process?
- Who sends registration details, reminders, and schedule changes to families?
- What enrollment or membership rules apply to the location?
Talk through the operating agreement
Mile High Kids Collective coordinates coaching and scheduling and communicates with families. We work with schools on rescheduling needs. School revenue sharing or fundraising contributions may be included in the partnership agreement; the amount and arrangement depend on that agreement.
Ask for the exact program, schedule, responsibilities, pricing arrangement, and any school contribution to be clear before launch. That gives the people delivering the program and the people supporting families the same reference point.
